Any error identified after publication, whether typographical, data-related, or substantive, may be reported to the editorial team by email at revistaespecialidadmedica@fmposgrado.unam.mx, using “Errata/Corr/Retra” as the subject line.

The Editorial Committee will assess each notification and determine, according to the nature and significance of the error, whether a correction, erratum, clarification, or editorial note should be published. When appropriate, the correction will be published online and permanently linked to the published version of the article, ensuring traceability of the changes made.

When issues are identified that substantially compromise the validity, integrity, or reliability of the published work, the Editorial Committee may initiate a retraction process in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies and the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Retractions will be published through an official notice linked to the original article. The notice will transparently state the reasons for the retraction and, when applicable, its relationship to any previous correction or publication.
