Submission Checklist (check before submitting)

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

• Manuscript in .docx format and prepared using the appropriate template.
• Title, author names, institutional affiliations, and ORCID included.
• Abstract in Spanish and English (150–250 words, depending on the type of manuscript).
• Keywords (3–6), preferably validated in MeSH.
• Author contributions section (CRediT) completed.
• Funding statement and conflict of interest declaration included.
• Cover letter in PDF format on institutional letterhead attached.
• Figures and tables in editable format and with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI.
• References in Vancouver style (superscript), verified and updated.
• Ethics approval and informed consent, where applicable.
